What is MemeKiln?
MemeKiln is a no-code tool that creates a real Solana token (SPL Token-2022) from your browser. You fill in a form, approve one transaction in your wallet and the full supply lands in your wallet.
How much does it cost to create a Solana token?
Launch offer: no MemeKiln creation fee until 20 November 2026 (Solana network costs still apply, about 0.005 SOL). The MemeKiln fee is 0.2 SOL per token, revoking included. A custom address adds 0.1 SOL. The Solana network also charges about 0.005 SOL for storage and fees. Total: about 0.205 SOL.
Do you have access to my wallet?
No. MemeKiln is non-custodial. You sign in your own wallet, which shows the full transaction (including our fee) before you approve. We never see your seed phrase or private key, and we can never move your tokens.
What does revoking mint and freeze authority mean?
Mint authority lets someone create new tokens at any time; freeze authority lets someone block a holder’s tokens. Revoking them removes these powers forever. Buyers, wallets and scanners such as RugCheck flag tokens that keep them. Read the full guide.
Which wallets can I use?
Phantom, Solflare, Backpack and any wallet that supports the Solana Wallet Standard. On mobile, open MemeKiln inside your wallet’s built-in browser.
Do I get all the tokens?
Yes. 100% of the supply is sent to your wallet. MemeKiln keeps no tokens and takes no share of trading.
Do I need a logo?
No. Without one, MemeKiln makes a simple logo from the first letter of your token’s name. You can upload your own logo later from “My tokens”, unless you lock the token.
How do people get my token?
A new token has no price and cannot be traded until a liquidity pool exists. From “My tokens”, MemeKiln can create a token/SOL pool on Raydium with the liquidity locked forever. Trading then happens on Raydium, Jupiter or wallets, never on MemeKiln. MemeKiln does not list or promote tokens.
What does “LP burned” mean?
When a pool is created, the creator receives LP tokens: the key that allows taking the liquidity back out. MemeKiln burns them in the same transaction, so nobody, not the creator and not us, can ever empty the pool. Trading stays open, and the creator can still sell the tokens they kept. A pool gives a token no value.
Can I change the logo or links later?
Yes, from “My tokens”, for 0.05 SOL per change, unless you locked the token. The name and ticker stay the same. Locking is free and permanent.
Why a custom address?
A memorable address (for example ending in “moon”) looks professional and is easier to recognize. Your browser generates it locally: the secret key never leaves your device and is only used once, to create the token.
Which blockchains are supported?
Solana only.
Is creating a meme coin legal?
Creating a token is legal in most countries. Selling it to the public, promising profits or misleading buyers can be regulated or illegal (for example under MiCA in the EU). Our terms forbid fraud such as rug pulls and impersonation. When in doubt, ask a lawyer.
What is Token-2022?
Token-2022 is the newer official Solana token program. It stores the name, ticker and logo link directly in the token. Phantom, Solflare, Jupiter, Raydium and the main explorers support it.
